Privacy Policy

Effective: May 20, 2026  ·  Last updated: May 20, 2026

MVP Codeworks LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the website mvpcodeworks.com. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information. This policy applies to visitors and prospective clients in the United States and Canada.

Information We Collect

We collect information you voluntarily provide through our contact and project brief forms, including:

  • Name and email address
  • Phone number (optional)
  • Company name and website (optional)
  • Project description, industry, and budget information
  • Technical and timeline details relevant to your project

We do not use cookies for tracking or advertising. We do not run analytics scripts, advertising pixels, or any third-party tracking on this site. Web fonts are self-hosted — no font requests are sent to Google or any external server when you visit this site. Standard server logs (IP addresses, request timestamps) may be generated by our hosting infrastructure.

Cookies

This site uses a single strictly necessary cookie:

  • mvpc_session — a secure, HttpOnly session cookie set only when you log in to a password-protected area of the site. It authenticates your session and expires after 7 days or when you sign out. It contains no tracking data and is never shared with third parties.

If you subscribe to the blog, we store your email address and a unique token in our database to manage your subscription preferences. No cookie is set for this purpose.

We do not use advertising cookies, analytics cookies, or any third-party tracking cookies. No cookie consent banner is displayed because no non-essential cookies are set.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information you submit solely to:

  • Respond to your inquiry or evaluate project fit
  • Follow up with you about potential engagements
  • Send you a one-time confirmation email upon form submission

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. We do not use your information for automated decision-making or profiling.

Data Storage and Security

Project brief submissions are stored in a private database on our server, accessible only to MVP Codeworks personnel. Contact form messages are transmitted to our internal email and are not retained in a database beyond that delivery.

We retain submission data for as long as reasonably necessary to evaluate and respond to your inquiry, generally no longer than two years. You may request deletion at any time by contacting us at hello@mvpcodeworks.com.

In the event of a data breach that affects your personal information, we will notify affected individuals and relevant authorities as required by applicable law.

Email Communications

When you submit a form, you will receive a single automated confirmation email acknowledging your submission. We may follow up with you directly regarding your inquiry. You will not be added to any marketing list or newsletter without your explicit consent. Confirmation emails are transactional — they are not commercial or promotional messages.

Third-Party Services

This website does not embed third-party tracking scripts, advertising pixels, social media widgets, or analytics services. Web fonts are downloaded and served directly from our own server (not from Google or any third party). Our email delivery uses an SMTP provider; only the information necessary to deliver your confirmation email is transmitted for that purpose.

Your Rights — United States (CCPA)

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) provides you with specific rights regarding your personal information:

  • Right to Know: You may request disclosure of the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you.
  • Right to Delete: You may request deletion of personal information we have collected, subject to certain exceptions.
  • Right to Correct: You may request correction of inaccurate personal information.
  • Right to Non-Discrimination: We will not discriminate against you for exercising any CCPA rights.

We do not sell your personal information — not in the traditional sense nor as defined under the CCPA. We do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

To exercise your CCPA rights, contact us at hello@mvpcodeworks.com. We will respond within 45 days as required.

Your Rights — Canada (PIPEDA)

If you are located in Canada, your personal information is protected under the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and applicable provincial privacy laws. You have the right to:

  • Know why we collect your personal information before or at the time of collection
  • Expect that your information is collected with your knowledge and consent
  • Access the personal information we hold about you and challenge its accuracy
  • Request deletion or correction of your personal information
  • Lodge a complaint with the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada (priv.gc.ca) if you believe your rights have been violated

We collect personal information only with your knowledge and consent (provided by submitting our contact forms), and only for the purposes described in this policy.

Children’s Privacy

Our services are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you believe a minor has submitted information to us, please contact us immediately.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy occasionally. Material changes will be reflected with an updated “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.

Governing Law

This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of the State of New York, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions. Canadian residents retain all rights afforded under PIPEDA and applicable provincial law.
